With a Computer Engineering degree from Ecole Superieure d'Electricite, Centrale-Supelec, Paris, and an Electronic and Electricity engineering degree from the Lebanese University, Therese started her career with Bull Paris in 1989 where she worked in development to be later appointed to team leader.

A versatile executive with 27+ years of experience in internet, pay TV & data service provider business covering all the aspects of this industry, Therese is one of the cofounders of Inconet, currently IDM, which she initially joined as technical manager to be later appointed as general manager in 2007.
Following the merger between IDM, Cyberia & GDS in 2012, she was appointed group director of Globalcom, driving internal operations control systems, the business financial reporting, budgeting and P&L.
She was also leading all new business cases (DSL, LTE, 4G MISP, Fiber business cases) as well as business valuation of new companies to merge with or acquire, mainly the merger with IDM in 2001, then with Cyberia in 2012, and then the acquisition of Cablevision in 2016. She has been appointed Chairman of GDS in September 2021.

Therese is also a founding member of Internet Society Lebanon Chapter (ISOC), Board Member of Women in IT (WIT), and member in Lebanese League of Women in Business (LLWB).
