Bassam Jaber is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Econet sal and Right and Rights.
He is responsible of the Group TV and content aggregation business of Globalcom. He previously held the position of Chairman and CEO of Transmog Inc. Sal. “CYBERIA” since 2002. He has joined the company since the very first days of its establishment in 1995, and held many managerial positions there. He worked closely with the Ministry of Telecom to inaugurate many Telecom laws and policies targeting the Internet and Wireless Data Licenses for Transmog Inc. Moreover, he has participated thoroughly in opening Saudi Arabia and Jordan Operations and initiated mergers and acquisitions.
Bassam has over 20 years of experience in executive management, marketing, sales and business operations.
He has an academic background in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Michigan – USA and attended London School of Managers.
