"Internet for All" initiative

June 2025

IDM recently launched the "Internet for All" initiative in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs, a program designed to eliminate barriers to internet access for people with disabilities.

The launch event brought together key figures from both the government and IDM, including Minister Ms. Hanine Al Sayyed, IDM Board Director Mr. Maroun Chammas, and IDM CEO Ms. Rana Zakhour, to highlight the vital role of connectivity in daily life.

Through this initiative, eligible beneficiaries will receive free installation, a complimentary router, and the first month of service at no cost. After that, they will benefit from a heavily discounted rate starting at just 300,000 LBP per month.

"Internet for All" is more than just access, it's about empowering individuals to participate in work, education, healthcare, social life, and even tap into AI tools that can support them in their everyday challenges.

This marks a meaningful step toward creating a more inclusive, connected, and equitable society!
